Why applying the normal way doesn't work

Enhanced's core product is a set of DeFi smart contracts that handle the options strategy execution, the auction mechanics for selling covered calls, the vault logic that manages underlying assets, the settlement and expiry handling, and the multi-chain deployment infrastructure. This is the most critical first hire. Without auditable, capital-efficient smart contracts, nothing else exists. Core skills: Solidity, DeFi protocol architecture (options/derivatives vaults, Ribbon, Lyra, or similar as reference architectures), cross-chain deployment (EVM-compatible chains, bridging standards), formal verification or security-first development patterns, familiarity with options mechanics and on-chain auction design, gas optimisation. Proof of work: Write a minimal Solidity implementation of a covered call vault, ETH deposited, weekly call options sold to a market maker via auction, premium distributed to depositors, ETH returned or delivered on expiry. The contract does not need to be audited or deployable, but it should demonstrate that you understand the core vault mechanics and the settlement edge cases.
