The story

What Anthony is looking for

I want to own how a brand shows up online, end to end. Strategy, voice, content, systems. A small team where I'm not writing briefs for other people to execute but actually making the work myself. I lose track of time when I'm building content systems that make a chaotic operation feel like a machine, or when I'm deep in a launch campaign figuring out the one creative angle that makes people stop scrolling. I want to be close enough to the product to understand it at a practitioner level and close enough to the audience to know what they care about before they say it. I don't want to manage a content calendar. I want to build the engine that makes a brand impossible to ignore.

Why Anthony is exploring

My contract at an AI media company ended at the end of March. I spent seven months building their entire content operation from scratch as a one-person team: 5.4M+ impressions, grew X by 58%, built a product account from zero to nearly 4K followers. The work was some of the best of my career, but it was a contractor engagement and it ran its course. Now I want a full-time home where I can invest long-term, keep building, and not have to wonder if the floor disappears in three months.

What won't fit on a resume

I vibe code iOS apps every night after my day of job hunting. I'm building Dig, a vinyl record collection manager with barcode scanning and SwiftUI widgets, and BKMRK, a tool that connects your Twitter bookmarks to GitHub repos. Neither of these were anyone's idea but mine. I also built a custom AI social agent called Thoreau that lived in my team's Slack, drafted content in six brand voices, generated graphics, and connected to scheduling tools through MCP integrations. I deployed it on a Digital Ocean droplet and maintained it myself. No engineering background. I just needed a tool that didn't exist, so I built it. Before all of this, I spent years deep in crypto Twitter running socials for Art Blocks (200K followers) during the NFT boom. I collect vinyl obsessively and I'm building an app because the existing tools for managing a record collection aren't good enough. I also have Sicilian heritage and I'm deeply into Eastern Orthodox Christianity, which has nothing to do with marketing but everything to do with how I think about craft, patience, and doing work that matters.
