What Bianca is looking for
A mix of building and problem-solving. Day-to-day, it’s identifying messy, real operational problems, breaking them down, and turning them into simple, scalable systems, whether that’s through tooling, workflows, or lightweight automation. It involves talking to users or internal teams to understand friction, then quickly prototyping solutions, testing them, and iterating quickly. The moments where I lose track of time are when I’m deep in exploring new problem or tools.
Why Bianca is exploring
I’m at a point where I want more ownership and pace. I’ve learned a lot from both structured and unstructured environments, but I’m looking for a role where I can operate closer to the problem, move faster from idea to execution, and see more direct impact from my work. I’m also intentionally looking for a team that values building and iteration over process for its own sake.
What won't fit on a resume
One of the most meaningful projects I worked on was BijakMemilih, a non-partisan web platform built to help young Indonesians navigate the 2024 election. I led its development in collaboration with Think Policy Indonesia and What Is Up Indonesia. The core problem was clear: there was a lot of political information available, but very little of it was accessible, neutral, and actually usable for first-time voters. We had limited time and resources, so the challenge was to turn complex policy and candidate data into something simple, structured, and engaging. I focused on building the system end-to-end, using no-code tools to move fast, setting up a lightweight CMS, and designing how users could explore and compare candidates based on issues that matter to them. A big part of the work was also maintaining editorial neutrality while simplifying the content, which required constant judgment calls. The platform ended up reaching millions of users during the election period and grew into a trusted resource, eventually expanding beyond presidential elections into local ones. More broadly, this reflects how I like to work: I’m drawn to messy, high-stakes problems where information is fragmented, and I enjoy turning that into something structured, accessible, and genuinely useful for people.
