What Chris is looking for
small team, 2–10 people, where I can own commercial outcomes end-to-end. talking to users in the morning, shipping something based on it by afternoon. i want to see the direct line between what i do and what grows. i don't want a job title — i want a problem and the trust to go figure it out.
Why Chris is exploring
graduating june 2026. i've been running my own stuff for two years — ventures, contractors, clients — and i want to plug into a team that's already moving fast and add fuel to it. i'm not burned out on building, i want more of it. just want the right vehicle.
What won't fit on a resume
built a football coaching instagram to 40k followers from age 15, completely alone, because i was obsessed with the game. one of the players i coached went on to win the u18 afcon. i've filed my own corporation tax returns, incorporated a company, and run payroll — not because i had to, but because i wanted to understand every layer. i'm building a startup in aquaculture because i genuinely think it's one of the most important food systems problems on earth and nobody cool is working on it yet.
