My current company is in a domain that feels like it's reaching a plateau. Small features, outside of optimizations, don't feel impactful, and the culture, due to offshoring, has become very "keep the lights on."
What won't fit on a resume
My resume primarily highlights my technical skills, but it doesn't fully capture my evolution from solely building things to creating solutions that genuinely impact users. Initially, I experimented with various projects like Chrome plugins, mobile apps, and iOS apps, aiming for viral success. However, I realized the crucial importance of traction, distribution, user engagement, and validating whether my creations would be valuable or simply consume resources. My recent work, developing voice agents for a real estate company, has been particularly rewarding because I can see firsthand how this solution will directly assist people.
