What Muhammad is looking for
I want to be one of the first 10-25 engineers at a company building AI-powered application that serve real problem. I'm at my best when I own the full backend from architecture to revenue, and I want to do that at a company where AI isn't a feature bolted on but the core of the product. I want a role where that kind of product instinct matters, not just ticket execution.
Why Muhammad is exploring
I spent 4 years building at Indonesia's largest companies and I've seen what high-throughput financial systems look like at 170M-user scale. I came to the US for my master's at NYU specifically to be closer to the companies building the next generation of AI-native infrastructure. I want to bring what I've already built to a team that's moving fast in this space.
What won't fit on a resume
Second, Hero and MarketMind weren't school projects. I built them because I genuinely wanted to use them. Hero came from watching friends trade crypto with terrible tools and thinking "I can build something better." That product instinct is hard to put in a bullet point, but it's why I care about building things people actually use, not just things that are technically interesting.
