The story

What muhammed is looking for

tbh, i just want to own things end to end with no baby sitting. give me a problem space and a goal, not a ticket. i like figuring things out from scratch, system design, building the product, shipping it, talking to users, and iterating fast. right now i’m a founding software eng leading product eng from 0 -> 1 at designbuildai, and that kind of ownership is exactly what excites me. i like messy, ambiguous problems where the answer isn’t obvious yet. i enjoy going deep technically, but i also think a lot about the business side, and that has been an unfair advantage that i’ve had, what outcome this feature drives, how it saves time, makes money, or improves the product. i don’t really want to be a cog writing tickets someone else designed. i like shipping the thing.

Why muhammed is exploring

i’m in my early 20s and i don’t believe in work-life balance. i wanna win. for me this phase of life is about building as much as possible, learning fast, and working with people who are ambitious about what they’re creating. so what i’m looking for is a place with high ownership, fast iteration, and people who care about building something meaningful. if the mission is exciting and the problems are hard, i’m in.

What won't fit on a resume

a lot of the things i build usually start because something annoys me. for example i had thousands of bookmarks across chrome profiles and finding anything was painful. so i built a chrome extension with a rag pipeline that lets me search bookmarks using natural language. i’ve also built random experiments like: - an ai planner that converts voice into structured calendar events - a news chatbot where you can talk to articles using a rag pipeline - a small curated library where i store useful tools and resources i discover and, outside of engineering, i’ve mentored 1000+ students in full stack development, organized one of the largest hackathons in my college, and i’m also a mentalist (100+ shows). that whole experience made me weirdly comfortable with communication, psychology, and understanding people.
