What Rohit is looking for
first or second growth hire at an AI company that's hasn't figured out distribution yet. i want to own the whole thing , not just run ads or write blog posts. picking the channels, running experiments, talking to users, building landing pages myself, figuring out what's actually moving the needle. the day-to-day that makes me lose track of time is staring at a growth curve trying to figure out why it bent and what i can do to bend it more.
Why Rohit is exploring
got laid off from flare network (L1 blockchain, $400M+ in TVL) in early march. not performance but due to market conditions and restructuring. notice period ends april 6. if i'm being honest, it was the push i needed. i'm 22 and i've spent 5 years doing growth in crypto, which taught me a lot but i've been feeling the pull toward AI for a while. i want to work somewhere where AI is the product. and the window to join an early AI company as a growth person who actually understands the tech feels like right now personally.
What won't fit on a resume
i dropped out of college and went straight into crypto marketing at 17. started at a growth agency, then went in-house at flare, also ran GTM for a $3.5B+ defi protocol's token launch. 432k users activated through a revolut partnership. i build things. not as a dev, but i use claude code, codex w gstack installed k to ship products quick. built a DeFi copilot called flarepilot from scratch along with prompt2meme and currently exploring an automation services venture idea w @goidle.io. most of my free time goes into tech twitter rabbit holes, reading and the gym.
