What Sagnik is looking for
I like being deep in a codebase working on a real problem — figuring out the data model, writing the API, building the frontend that talks to it, and getting it live. I don't want to just pick up tickets from a board. I want to own full end-to-end features, make the technical calls, and see the thing I built actually running in production.
Why Sagnik is exploring
I'm at Sony right now, working on the PlayStation App — accessibility, internal tooling, and a RAG proof-of-concept I started on my own as a part of AI Initiative in company. The work is good but things move slow. Something I pitch today takes weeks to get heard and months to hit production. I've worked in faster setups before and I know I'm at my best when I can ship quickly and see the impact. I've learned a lot about building at scale here, Now I think I'm ready to go back to an environment where I can build for scale and ship in days, not quarters.
What won't fit on a resume
• I built MarketLens — a competitive intelligence platform with a multi-agent RAG pipeline — in one week as part of the Tinyfish accelerator programme and got selected. Didn't make it past the funding cycle, but I'm working on to build a playbook of agents around it and open-source the whole thing for people that want to build similar systems. • At Sony India, every POC needs a pitch to upper management before it can scale. Engineers were spending weeks on architecture for projects that might not even get approved. I built an internal tool where you drop in a PRD and it generates your LLD, HLD, DB design, and data flow — so you can go straight to building instead of guessing.
