What Shriraj is looking for
sitting with a hard problem, figuring it out, shipping something that works, then doing it again. i want to be close to product talking to users, collaborating with product folks, getting feedback, iterating fast. i don't want layers between me and the thing i'm building. the tech should be interesting enough that i lose track of time debugging it at 2am not because i have to but because i want to know the answer.
Why Shriraj is exploring
left my last role because the company situation became uncertain runway, direction, all of it. i want stability in the workplace, chaos in the work. a place that's figured out the basics so i can focus on hard problems instead of existential ones.
What won't fit on a resume
i built HyPaper an open-source paper trading backend that mirrors the HyperLiquid API exactly, one-line drop-in for devs. built PIMPP, an HTTP gateway layer for machine payment protocol services settling in USDC on Base. contributed to Ethereum community with OSS contribution. also ran a t-shirt shop once. got shut down for copyright issues. learned more about product-market reality from that than from most engineering work.
