What Sughanthan is looking for
I want to sit close to the messy edge where AI actually gets deployed: talking to users and executives, translating ambiguous workflows into concrete systems, prototyping fast, and then staying with the work until it runs in production. The best role for me is a small, ambitious team where I can combine technical judgment, customer discovery, operating ownership, and 0-to-1 execution. Titles that fit: forward deployed AI engineer, solutions architect, customer engineer, technical program lead, or founder's office / AI operations.
Why Sughanthan is exploring
I have spent the last five years helping build an enterprise AI company in Berlin from the inside. I joined as employee #2 on the ML/data science side, then grew into COO-level ownership across delivery, GTM, hiring, resourcing, finance, and client work as the company scaled. I am looking now because I want my next chapter to be closer to the frontier: a high-velocity AI startup, more product/building intensity, and a team where my mix of technical depth, customer-facing delivery, and operating range is a real advantage.
What won't fit on a resume
The resume undersells the range. I built the outbound acquisition engine from zero when founder network stopped being enough; it now drives most new lead flow. I have led around 50 AI adoption workshops with senior stakeholders and helped deliver 50+ ML/LLM projects across RAG, information extraction, forecasting, classification, computer vision, voicebots, and enterprise workflow automation. I also designed an agent-driven development workflow with Claude Code and Codex that improved engineering productivity 2x. My edge is turning ambiguity into motion: find the real problem, prove what is possible with data and prototypes, align stakeholders, and build the operating system around delivery.
